We recently were working on a science project called the European Chain Reaction. We worked together to create our own chain reaction, which you can watch above. We hope you like it! You can see others from the project at The European Chain Reaction website.
Here you see our timetable. It is the same the whole year. We have more breaks than you and our schooldays are shorter than yours in Scotland. Finnish includes reading, writing, grammar, drama and sometimes we make Power Point shows. PE includes track and field, orienteering, football, dancing, gymnastics, skiing, skating, volleyball, basketball, floor ball, hiking and Finnish baseball.

Not every week is exactly like this- for example at the moment the four oldest classes in the school are rehearsing each Wednesday morning for a large show we will put on in February for all the parents- but this gives you an idea of what our school week looks like.

In PE at the moment, we are learning some Scottish dances. The video at the top shows us working with our P.E. teacher, Mrs McKendrick, who taught us several dances this week. We hope you like watching them!
Hello! After your PE video, here is some action from earlier today when we were in the gym. Firstly, we played a game of dodge-ball, in two teams, then we played a game of benchball. We hope you enjoy the video.

This morning, the class went by bus to Yellowcraig, a beautiful walking area close to the sea, with woods next to the car park. It took us around 20 minutes to get there. After we arrived, we did some orienteering, which involves map-reading, to find various markers. It was very cold, but good fun- and some of the class got very hot racing around to find the various markers!
